Default DEI 791XV. Light blinks even when disarmed?

Hi all,

Im having an issue with my DEI 791XV light blinking 3 short blinks every few seconds when its disarmed and im driving. I recently just rewired it and its never done this before. Do I need to program something to make the blinks stop? I know the light should blink when armed, but not when disarmed right?

Thanks

Are you using the remote start section of the Viper 791XV?

3 blinks is LED playback of door trigger has triggered the alarm and the reason it is still blinking after ign. is turned on is there is no ign. input to alarm, common problem/mistake if remote start not connected. 94

Hmmm, I thought I could omit the remote start relay? I dont have it hooked up actually. I just hooked up the brain itself. Theres no way to do away with the remote start relay?

Thanks

Got it FCM. I did a search and found you said I can depin the yellow from the ribbon harness and run that to ignition 12v. All is well and I will get this done today. Thanks 200 times!
