Hey guys im looking for a good product to clean my tires. . . I just want them to be nice and black without the Brown tint to them . . . I DO NOT WANT SHINE. Just a way to make them clean and black. . .my rims are flat black so I dont want to use a tire dressing because it doesnt look right to me. . . any decent products? something I could pick up at wallmart or auto zone/ Advanced auto?

 

black magic titanium matte. Starts out shiny but dries matte.

 

Use Eagle One A-to-Z tire and wheel cleaner, and follow with Black Magic Titanium Matte tire spray.

It's a mist. It makes a matte finish, almost looks like a new tire.

meguiars all purpose cleaner mixed 6:1 sprayed on and the scrub with a brush. your tires will have a grey tint to them because they are so clean. Than what i use is poorboys world trim restorer. Spray it on a rag, wipe it on, wipe it off. Gives it a natural look. Of course you cant buy any of that stuff at a parts store but its not expensive to order from online either and it works alot better

On tires don't be afraid to use a harder cleaner. I spray simple green and brush hard with a plastic bristle brush. After washing the rest of the car I go over the wheels and tires with a mf towel to try and apply some tire gel with a proper pad and maybe some wax on the wheels.

 

I use spray-nine on my tires and it works like a dream. just a flat black clean tire.

 

I found out on accident but lacquer thinner works wonders!!!! it makes your tires look brand new, it cleans off all the old tire dressing and dirt and grime

my old roomate use some purple stuff on his s2000 ties to stain them

 

there are some black dyes that are used for trim pieces that you can use on tires, but the life of it is not too long. black wow or black again products
