No Exhaust for a Del Sol VTec?
Hi,
i´ve noticed that there´s no exhaust especially for a Del Sol VTec. No DC, no 5Zigen, no Apexi, nothing
Is that right?
btw, i need a complete exhaust system not only the rear muffler

i would assume, its greddy
of course greddy was on FnF...
just mufflers = rice
all the little tikes think they're badass around here and that their car goes faster because they cut off their muffler in shop and had a $50 coffee can welded on by some guy who can't bead for ****... unless you like pissed off bumble bees in foldgers cans... I'll get a flame for the muffler comment, but who cares. It's just my opinion anyway...

My buddy has a Greddy SP on his Del Sol VTEC. Nice and deep sound to it, but not so sure about the quality of it. Out of four people that I know that has this exhaust, 3 of them have fallen aprt inside the muffler. I have one on my hatch and it did it to me, then his g/f's did it to her, and his started to but he noticed it and got it welded before it was too late.
You might want to try Skunk2. I think they make one for it. It's a full stainless exhaust.

there are exhausts for the del sol vtec.
greddy sp
tanabe hyper medallion
tanabe racing medallion
tanabe g power
dc full catback (not the twin loop)
as far as complete systems, i think that is all, but there could be more im not too sure.
it has also been said that exhausts for the 92-95 civic hb will fit the sol, but you need to cut 6-8 inches from the b pipe for them to fit. in other words, modifications must be made for it too fit, but to what degree im not sure of.

for my del sol, I picked up a used tanabe piping with resonator for a integra gsr 94+, bought a Apex N1 muffler and cut/fit moving couple of hangers. and its fine.

The Skunk2 is great! I wouldn't have gone any other way, and I am *very* picky about the sound and styling.
Anyone looking for a bolt-on exhaust should go with Skunk2!

some time ago, maybe 2 yrs ago, DC advertised an exhaust for the del sol vtec. full cat-back system. as for apexi, i think they make one for the sohc only, but don't quote me on that.
greddy is hard to beat for quality/sound. they get my choice. no rice, low deep growl sound. quiet until you get on it, but its a low, deep, bassy sound. sounds bad ***.

all exhausts for any trim del sol are the same. I have a 93 del Sol S and I bolted up a VTEC exhaust with little to no problems.

Any 92-95 civic hatchback will work with very minor modification. Just after the resonator on the b-pipe cut and shorten it ~5 inches and have it welded back, $20 at local muffler shop. Every thing lines up great, you might want to put a hanger on the rear section pipe to line up with the sol's. I've done this twice, the first was an apex dunk and now I have a thermal 3".
You mean the Skunk2 one? I wasn't aware of any other RS*R exhausts for the Sol.
And, btw, a Sol is an EG2, not an EG1. If that isn't what your SN is supposed to be, then sorry. I just assume that's what it's meant as

the retail price is $690 i believe, but you can find it for around $500 depending where u look. i can get the the full skunk2 cat-back for $490 at a local tuner shop here.
