Default need help with changing stering wheel to get cruise control

Hi all,
Just joined your excellent group. I am in Australia with a AP1 S2000 but we do not have cruise control so I was lucky enough to locate a complete steering column and wheel on US Ebay .Unfortunately I got my Uncle in Las Vegas to post it to me and did not realise until it arrived that he is a complete MORON.
The wheel arrived minus the steering column as he wanted to save postage. He was so stupid that he did not work out how to dismantle it and instead hack sawed it off. Now my question is, WTF!!!!!??? No, actually my question is, how does the cruise control button signals get to the wires when the wheel rotates? From what I received, I think he has cut through the ring behind the wheel but I could not work out where the wires were or where they go.
If I can work out how to post images I can put some on the site or can someone else please post images of what was supposed to be there because I do not think I will be able to get another one soon. I was hoping that I could ressurect what is left (which is not a lot). he emailed me a photo of teh remains of the column and it just looks like a large white plastic area where the indictor and woper stalks were.

Please help. Luckily for the stupid Uncle, he lives in USA which is far from myself.

the cruise control wires should come bundled with the steering wheel harness. If I'm not mistaken it should have a grey connector coming from the car. I dont know if it is any different comparing USDM to ADM but dont take my word for it

I'm an RSX guy but for I think they should all be the same.
