Default jdm p30 ecu

hi all. i currently have a 99 jdm sir-g engine with the US p72. i want to put in my p30 in, but im going to do a tune later. how will my motor react to the rev limit, vtec crossover ect.

I would stick with the jdm p73 ecu until you do the tune. although that p30 is for a b16 there not much diff in vtec x-over and rev limit on the p73 is only about 500rpm. dont matter what you go with just get it tuned

both ecu's are wrong. the gsr manifold throws the p73 off quite a bit. if you have a single runner manifold it's another story and fairly close. do a real wideband tune and see if you can get a little more timing overall, should be worth a few hp and mpg
