Went to a local track rental put on by RPM Transmissions (think LS1/T56). Very nice of them to put on a free customer and friend appreciation day at Muncie Dragway!
Some may remember my build thread posted here... https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-s2000-5/gt30-s2000-build-2508429/
Car is pretty basic, here's the important stuff...
-Stock 38k mile motor, only thing changed in the motor is the spark plugs.
-GT3076 w/Tial .82 on a top mount mani built by myself
-Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors. Big
on these!
-Walbro 255 intank pump 'hot wired' with stock FPR
-Custom Reinforced diff
-AEM tuned by myself on E85
1st pass... 2.11 60' followed by a 2-5 shift (ain't a track day without one for me...)
2nd pass... 2.05 60' netted a 12.395 @ 117 (2nd or third best pass at the time)
3rd pass... 2.156 60' netted a 12.49 @ 119 little extra boost on that pass
4th pass... 1.992 60' netted a 12.157 @ 119.9
5th pass... 1.941 60' then bailed on another 2-5 shift (tranny didn't like that one...)
6th pass... 1.98 60' lined up against Carey (tree'd him btw
) then another 2-5 shift (f*@% tranny really didn't like that, no more 6th gear
)
7th pass... 2.05 60' to a 12.219 @ 119.79 around 14.5psi
Then let the car cool a bit because I was running it pretty heatsoaked everytime...
8th pass... 1.98 60' and a new best of 12.050 @ 122.26! So close to an 11 sec pass, sad but happy at the same time lol!
Injectors are about maxed with the stock FPR and single 255 pump on the E85 at 14.5psi. These passes were all made with the car slammed with a little over -3.5 degrees camber in the rear on 245/40/17 Sumitomo HTR Z III tires at around 28psi. Never thought I'd be able to pull off those kind of 60's that consistent with the way the car is setup. The boost by vss definatly helped though, left with around 8-9psi in first and about 12psi in second.
Here's a couple pics of the car and motor...

Thanks guys!
Not really this year. Was going to borrow some DR's for this event but my friend sold them to pick up some other tires. Don't really want to mess with the fuel system this year so I probly can only get another pound or two before I'm maxed out. I'll probly make another trip to the track sometime, gotta get me an 11!
Thanks man, you too! Oh and welcome to the 2-5 club!

Thanks guys!
Good news, tranny is fine! Did some searching around and found others had the problem with 6th gear and it 'fixed' itself. So I played around with the shifter for a while and got it back in gear. 5th & 6th are on the same syncro slider and I guess 'skip shifting' can fubar the syncro a little but with a little working it can be straightened back out. Now that that's fixed, gonna change the fluid and check the old fluid out.

Nice times! Def has an 11 in it! MPH is where it needs to be for the 11 but 60' is whack due to tires. But I am sure there is a 11.9 in it with a little more seat time!!!

Thanks guys!
Drained the tranny fluid out today through a strainer and caught nothing. Made me feel better about the whole deal
