compression per cylinder
I just wanted to verify what the recommended compression should be per cylinder.
I've searched and found numerous threads of how to do one, but I need to know what a healthy range is for my k20a2 motor.
I was told anything above 130-135psi was considered good. is this true?
thanks

so if ther all over 130psi, they still have to be relatively close? what happens if they aren't but are still over 130psi?

If they are lower than 130psi it could be a number of things. Most likely, your piston rings are going. How many miles on your motor. I also think that it should be higher than 130, maybe closer to 150psi, not positive though.
Just for kicks lol... my B20V is at 300psi lol...

my motor is at 80,000. i haven't taken a compression test on my particular motor but I was told that anything past 135psi is considered acceptable. But from what Type S-paz was saying, (this is all hypothetical) if the 3 cylinders were at around 143psi but the last one was at around 136psi, would that be a problem?
