Got my new paint about 2 months ago, if not more.

I was reading and i was told that it's safe to wax and polish a car after 2 months.

Does anyone know a proper detailing steps that i can use, and inform me on which car care products i can or cannot use?

im assuming you do not have many swirls/defects so you will not need to buff/polish the car. just give the car a good coat(s) of sealant and/or carnuba paste wax.

what color is the car? is it a daily driver?

 

i'm already starting to see swirl and scratch marks on my hood.
The color of my car is titanium metallic, and it's not a daily driver, i wash it once a week at least.
