Where are you guys buying bungs I would like to buy them in bulk orders of atleast 50-100.

 

idk what most pay for bulk discount but i know at my local exhaust supply shop i pay $1.50/e for SS o2 bungs. and i have no minimum to buy. i would guess they could do a bulk order.

 

The cheapest oxygen sensor bung I've seen was about $5.00, which is rediculous considering that it's a nut that's been turned down. In the past, I have used metric nuts. If you can live with the hex shape, you should use M18x1.5 nuts. It's way cheaper that way.

That's cheap! Have you considered reselling them?

 

We get them all from fastenal. we buy in lots of 50 or more. 99.99% of the time we buy carbon ones. Dunno on the price. I'm not important enough to be involved in purchasing.

 

talk to exhaust/muffler shops in your area. we buy them 500 at a time for $300, either stainless and/or aluminum

use a 21/32 SS pipe and tap it with a metric 18X1.5 tap
