anyone else get annoyed by the rattles, etc. in their teg?
everytime you hit a bump, or uneven part in the road.. and then you hear some panels rattling... then you have the coin thing and glove box.. etc. sometimes i feel like selling the thing.
i have pretty much gotten used to the rattles, thanks to driving daily in the city.
try driving your teg without the back seats and trunk lining. you'll appreciate all the little noises you hear thereafter. at least i did

I dont really have that many(significant) rattles in my 99GSR but it can be annoying sometimes when it does occur, but I am willing to pay that price for a bit more firm ride. One day I will strip out the entire car interior anyways when it becomes a full-time track ***** so I dont really care anyways. Enjoy

yes rattles and squeaks bug me too.
if you can figure out where it's coming from you can maybe take some injection spray foam and fix it or something like that.

The most famous part to rattle is the back hatch. It rattles in all my friends Integras even my friends 01 GSR. That **** is annoying but it’s nothing a little grease can’t fix.
yes..
squeekes, shakes, rattles, vibrations.... **** sounds like it's loose and ready to fall apart... never noticed it really until i got a new throwout bearing put in with my new clutch... car is so much quieter, but damn...t he noises are annoying..

speaking of small rattles, which teg owners have passenger side sun visors that rattle while idling? it's like a small, annoying tapping sound that you wouldn't really notice at first...but once you do, it drives you nuts.
not too hard to fix though..i just move the visor down a cm

I have no rattles!
but maybe that is a combination of me using my radio, and tightening loose screws when nessisary.
but it could be worse, I worked for ford and 3 out of every 4 mustangs sold would come back within the first 10k miles with a dash rattle, or door rattle.
so far I have been able to fix all the little rattles that come up, but none are bad enough that I can't fix them myself with 5 minutes.

How do you fix the hatch rattle??? I heard puttin some elitrical tape on it will stop the noise... anyone know if this is true?
i have a rattle that comes from the back hatch area also. at first i thought it was the hatch but it happend after i lowered. so i looked under the car and thought maybe it was my suspension. what i did was sprayed the springs with WD-40 just to test it out. i drove around and the rattle was gone. turns out the rattle that i was hearing was the coils hitting eachother over the dumps. WD-40 will not fix it permanently though
you get used to it . I run my car with nothing in it but a dash driver seat , a bottle and raw sheet metal ./ I love the sound of it.
here here...on my DB8 it is isolated to the 2 front door panels and driver side headliner molding. i expected more from an acura to be frank.
do u guys think tightening something a bit more or extra padding (just a lil) would reduce it significantly?
also, won't having a loud exhaust and/or sub only accelerate the growth and frequency of rattles and squeaks since the low freq noise will do more to shake things loose?
