ok guys I have a b20b in my 89 si hatch . . . it has a dc header, bdl fuel rail , obd1 converted with a chipped ecu from phearable.net . . . has full exhaust and intake as well.
heres my question . im debating between the Skunk 2 intake manifold or the Blox Intake Manifold?? which would be a better route??
also Im not sure on throttle body . . . Im assuming for my all motor set up being that its not b20vtec or anything the 74mm would be to big? I would be better going with the 68mm ? correct me if im wrong? thanks.

Check in the B20vtec thread and compare your setup with others and the numbers they are running. But off the top of my head I would suggest an Edelbrock Performer X Intake manifold with a 68mm TB. But with your setup I think cams would help out a lot. Was there any work done to the bottom end?

It's not that they're junk but they are what they are (I run one on my car) (Skunk). You have to understand what each manifold is and what it isn't, then select one for your build that will compliment/enhance it's combination.

thanks man , like I said Its a b20b, I/H/E , obd1 conv. . im not looking to build the bottom end or the head. . . Im just looking to buy a Intake Manifold And Throttle body. . im gunna go with the Blox 68mm Im just debating on the SK2 Manifold or the Blox. . . ??
Unless you're upgrading the cams and pistons, I wouldn't wast my time or money on a new IM or TB. That will more than likely cost you power.
this is true u will not get the performance of the IM or the TB unless u have other things done..like cams, valve.springs PnP head jus things like that..becuase if u get a IM with biger ports than ur head What is it going to do..nothing it would be pointless..
