Default obd1 b16 does not start

ok so i have an 88 dx hatch and just recently swapped b16 obd1 into it. i was running an ls before so dpfi to mpfi conversion had already been done. so here is the specs on motor and tranny:
B16 head and block, obd1 dizzy, ls flywheel, ls tranny, ls injectors, b16 fuel rail, and using skunk2 chipped p28 that my brother was running in his eg coupe with b16.
So car turns over but doesnt start. I have spark, cuz i checked for spark. I have a small leak at the end of fuel rail where fuel line bolts up to. can that be the cause of the car not turning over? I dont have a check engine light. How do I check what code my ecu is throwing if i do get a CEL with my obd1 ecu?. Any advice on what to look for?

chances are, you dont have enough fuel pressure because of that fuel leak.

Why don't you just tighten it to be sure? Do you have the washers installed on the end where the fuel line comes in?

I don't think a small fuel leak will prevent the car from starting unless it's alot of fuel.

The conversion harness you have should give you directions on how to check the check engine light, I believe the pin is usually grounding out d4 and the CEL will flash on the dash. More than likely the issue is with the CEL on not the small fuel leak.

I fix the fuel leak and like I said no CEL's .... I figured out how to check, the ecu I'm using is my bro's p28 that he is running on his b16 with obd2 dizzy...I believe its a skunk2 chip, if its chipped for an obd2 car, will it not start an obd1 motor?

OBD2 has different layout. I would try an OBD1
