hi everyone i have a 2000 accord coupe ex and had it parked for a month. yesterday i tried to start it, and its cranks but doesnt starts, i noticed that there is no check engine light sign on the dash when the key is turn to on position. its suppose to go on then goes off. car was running fine a month ago. what should i do now? please help me. i had a aftermarket alarm system i though it would be the casue then i disconnected the alarm system completely out and tape open wires up good. and got brand new battery in just to be sure. bad ECU or bad relay? any suggestions on diagnosing would be a great help thank you. i looked at my car again today and found out something else! and its the flashing key is not on the dash either, its suppose to come on flashing and then goes off. all fuses are checked and good.
