we went tonight to GLD. and ran the car; like always track wasn't prep and hit a 10.1 at 145 mph hopefully we will go to a different track see what the car can do ..... i will post time slip soon and videos ...

congrats.. Good to see you guys got the car back together.. Should be some good racing for import wars. Trying to get another car out that ran 10.0s as well..

Very good driving by Waldo(owner) despite the slippery track(good call to back out of the gas when he needed to--scary on the topend especially). When sun was out the track was ok, but as night came along also came the moisture. Ran mostly at night as track opened late, so we are looking to run at a better track and more in the earlier afternoons.
setup:
-GSR 81mm Darton MIDs
-Eagle Rods
-Off-the-shelf 81mm MAHLE pistons w/ JE rings
-Clevite Bearings
-Stock GSR camshafts
-OEM oil pump
-GT4094R Garrett mated to Beeyond Engineering turbo system
-OEM LS tranny with OEM LSD and 4.7 Final Drive set by MFactory
-Full Blown dual Walbro
-RC 1600cc
-MSD
-S300
-GM 3bar MAP
Simple, but effective....30psi ~650whp on dynocom dyno. I know this setup isn't top notch, but fund-limited....so he's just hanging in there and doing the best he can until next season for a better overall setup. This was suppose to be his GT35R 500whp build, but decided to put the 40r on. Best time on 35r was 10.3@141. This car is still a true daily driver with full interior minus back seats. It does not get to rest until the local Import events are in session like most cars.... It gets driven 3-4 days out of the week around town and to work....on low boost with 93/110octane that is.... At the track it gets the race map and 116 gas.

im waiting for my friend ,i lost my cables for the video camera ... and i might have to revideo tape from another camera ... mini dv sucks ., im goin to best buy to buy an hd. camera ... but im still working on it ... sorry
