ITB's with air filter?
Im sure you can make a filter box setup for them..
but IMO filters on ITBs are pointless... to much power loss..
just change your oil more frequent an you will be fine

If you get a set of the K&N individual filters. There is a set with velocity stacks integrated into them. You probably wouldn't even notice a power drop, maybe even a gain, depending on your setup.

If this is a daily driver, I would suggest against running it filter less. Running without a can end up doing more harm than dirtying your oil faster.

Here is my test fit without filters.

These are a set of 14" ITBs and I have fitted a 5" air filter box on them and still had 1" of clearance. If your running TWM or any other sort runner ITBs. I would imagine that you should have more than enough of room for a set of 4" filters.

I think a better idea than having four individual filter elements on each runner would be to fabricate an airbox and feed a cold-air duct, and run a standard K&N cone filter at the end.
Having a filter at the end of your runner reduces the velocity of the air entering, as it blocks any flow in the 90* to 180* range, assuming you have 180* velocity stacks.

Yes and you are 100% right but for just farting around town with the ability of removing when you get to the track (cough, street, cough, cough,) Filters are great and cost alot less then that beutiful carbon fiber piece.
Probably sound more beastly.

Looks sweeet!
Stay tuned for that on my build thread/blog. Nether the chassis or the engine are finished just yet. I kind of hit an unemployment, now back in school, speed bump. Should be back on track in a few months.
thats not why theyre not that streetable- you ever dealt with daily driving itb's?
looks like the airbox was the best idea- hot air from the header moves underneath the engine and falls up into the low pressure area behind the motor where the intake is. plumb it outside and id bet youd see a nice improvement in power from change in air temp alone.
