Default IACV question

My friend has a ITR with an idle surge. We think its the IACV, so we took it off and cleaned it with little success. The car has high miles so it probably due for a new one anyways. My question is, is a 2000 SI b16a2 and 2000 ITR b18c5 the same IACV ? Acura is a far drive for us, and honda is like 5 minutes away. They have 2 different part numbers...

2000 Acura Integra Type R IACV - 36450-P6T-S01
2000 Honda Civic SI IACV - 36450-P2J-J01

as you can see, they part numbers are very similar. Also, they look exactly the same, and I THINK they have the same denso part number(or close too it). They have the same bolt holes and everything. Both cars would be OBD2b too. The main difference is the cost lol, and the drive for us. Let me know any input, thanks...

Of course the bolt holes match up, the intake manifolds are virtually identical.

give it a shot, you have almost nothing to lose.
