I bought 2 JDM Evo 4 Recaros out of a DC Integra. They were still mounted in the car when I bought them. I took the sliders off myself and sold them to a member here who claims 1 side worked and the other side was completely different. I even measured the bolt spacing for him before selling him the brackets.
This picture shows the Recaro bolt pattern. 3 bolts each side, 2 close to each other. This is the drivers side but its the same pattern for both sides.

Here's his picture. The outside brackets are fine but he claims the inside brackets won't work with the other seat which doesn't make sense because you can see they have the same bolt pattern. Note that he's drilled two additional holes about 2" away from the originals (on the left side) and still bought my brackets although I gave him precise measurements. He said it was close enough.

The brackets in question have a different style and are slightly taller than the other but came off the same car and off the same style seats. This guy basically doesn't believe me. First, can we agree that the bolt patterns are the same? I illustrated which holes line up. So, if one set works, the other should work right? I really don't know what's going on here.

As far as I know, most if not all bottom-mount Recaros use the same bolt pattern. What seat is he trying to use them with?

That's what I'm saying!!!! I'm a BMW guy and it's the same story. I don't know how he can get 1 to work and not the other when they have the same pattern on both rails. He says he's using JDM Recaros too but I think he might have replicas or something. That's the only explanation. You can see he drilled holes about 2" away from the stock location.
Not true, factory fitted recaros in EVO6's etc use 2 big bolts compared to the tegs 3 small bolts..
Id sak for him to give you photos of the bottom of his seat and work from there...

Ok thanks. Even if he does have a different bolt pattern, how is that my fault? I gave him a picture of the rails and precise measurements of the holes, center to center.

Give this guy back his money but not the full amount because he modified them. You mislead him by advertising that these were jdm DC rails. One is but the other is an ek/unknown rail.Even if they came out of a dc doesn't mean they are dc rails ,they could have been any rails held on with 2 bolts for all we know.Dc rails fit in and ek with 3 bolts but ek rails will not fit in a dc,atleast not a good or safe fit.Take the high road on this one, refund his money and go on with your life.Just offering my thoughts.

If they are from a different model, then I unknowingly sold them to him. Honest mistake. I'm still waiting on pictures of the problem to confirm. However, he's not saying they don't fit the car, he's saying he can't even mount his Recaro's on them, which is complete bull. That's mainly what the argument is about. Unless I'm reading his posts wrong which is possible since it's hard to understand what he's saying. Instead of telling me about the issue first, he files a dispute on paypal and wants me to give him back $130 ($100 for brackets and $30 shipping) for both brackets. WTF? I already offered 1/2 his money back and his friends are still talking ****, talkin about how I'm in no position to negotiate. WTF?
Reelizmpro,i dont think he has real recaros and i also think he believes the word "bracket" means the same thing as "rails".I think you guys have a communication error.Never the less you did sell him only one dc rail and one unknown rail which would be your fault. He just really wants rails that would bolt up to his chasiss and if both did i don't think he'd be complaining. He modified the brackets to fit the seats and i think he expected that part, but not the fact that one rail wasn't a dc rail as advertised. Hope you guy solve this.
