Default 1996 Gsr wont start after switching ecu...need help please

ok like the title says i have a 96 Gsr ob2 with stock P72, i pulled it out cuz my homie gave me his old P28 chiped Ecu & i got my friends obd2>obd1 jumper harness off his 98 teg. so heres where the problem started first off we took out the p72 and my homie opened it up (cuz hes an idiot and wanted to c how an ecu looks inside) and we hooked up the jumper harness and obd1 p28 and the car wont crank over. it sounds like its trying to crank but it sounds like its either not sparking or its not getting enough voltage, my friend said to check the dizzy but that was recently replaced with a new 1. ok and heres the wierd part we tryed hooking back up the p72 and even then it still wont crank over with either ecu....why wont it turn over? i checked the ecu fuse still good could my old ecu have goten fryed??? help please....

Yea if it wasnt it wouldnt start 2 crank. So anyways 2day me and my homies cjecked the firing order of my spark plug wires, no luck looked to c if i had a spark in the 1st cylindar... No luck so we pulled the dizzy cap off and it was lookin great, took off the rotor and checked the ignition coil. It looks good we tested it with a light tester and its hot so iono what next to look for any1 knos or has an idea....

i meant is the battery weak... like it has enough to turn the motor over, but not enough to actually start
