Default Hot Rod Cars at the E-town Fall Nats Leave the drama at the door

I see Gary G updated his FB status to say he is dusting off his HR car to bring it to e-town.

So that means you have Steve, Dave, GG, DR Marv who I believe would be in to race.

If Chuck comes with Tony there is one more. I heard Mike Gage has his HR car done and I left him a message.

Lets see if we can keep this thread clean and see if a hot rod class can make a good showing at the e-town event.

If anyone coming from a far distance and can't make the drive that friday but can a week or so before, I will offer up my garage to park your car and trailer and then you can fly out friday night and head to e-town.

Last I checked it's still with them.

Some one should contact them and see if they want to bring it back out.

I spoke to Stephanie the same day I talked to GG, she said no thanks as she had prior commitments. GG seemed down as long as the hauler was east.

Its a long shot for me, but I might try to put something together last minute. Hard for me cuz I'm getting married in 2 weeks.

We can arrange something where you show up with the money the day of race. But with the big names jumping in and the money they wanna race for, the deposit to make the purse is looking like $300-400 per entry. One racer wants atleast 6 cars competing to show. Another guy won't come unless 1st place takes $2000. Each extra car lowers the buy in by about $50.
8 cars would make this affordable and fun. And there is the possibility of some help coming are way so don't get discouraged yet.

Maybe some guys out west could get a hauler that holds a couple cars and split that cost? Just an idea.
