the tags are expired last month. i had the car for about a year i didn't put it into my name till May. i smoged the car on 4-25-09 i have the paper work that i can give you, so it shouldn't be a problem putting the car in your name. even if you have to smog it again it will pass. just gotta pay the registration fee.
