Honda will not start
I got a question concerning my 2000 Honda Civic. THe body style is a SI, but the engine is a D16Y8 (long story behind that). The other day I was working on it and was messing with the glove box. I reached my hand behind the it and felt a box, with out knowing what it was i tried to move it. A second later i heard like two wires touching together and started to smell burnt. When i removed the glove box to check it out it was my main relay. You could see on the circuit board that it burnt out. I replaced it and soon after the car will not start at all. It turns over and feels like its gonna start but doesn't. There is no fire at the spark plugs. I was gonna have my ignition coil tested as well as my ignition control module, but haven't had the time to do so cause of work. Am i on the right track of troubleshooting or is there something else that I should try? I was thinking about just replacing the whole distributor altogether as the rotor screw has been stripped out completely.
If any one has any ideas or suggestions please let me know
