I saw this on yahoo and figured I would post here for you guys.
The Accord is Again the number one most stolen car in the US...
and the Civic is Number 2.

Ha I just read this and was about to post it but decided to search for threads first. I actually thought number one would be a Civic/Integra.

Honda has to be happy to note that this isn't true of the latest effort from their design bureau.
What with looking like a cross between a Volkswagen and an Dodge Avenger, there's little Honda identity left.
Forbes attributes this to better anti-theft technology, but I believe it's because they're butt ugly.

the dumbest thing in the article is the fact that one of the employees of the National Insurance Crime Bureau left her keys in the ignition right next to her office and had her car stolen...
Owner stupidity still is at the number one spot for how thieves get their grimey hands on our cars. If we just slowed down for 5 seconds and took the time to shut our cars off and take the keys with us there would be a whole lot less theft...

I agree though that some of the newest designs are really head scratchers. The new CR-V, the new Pilot, the acura RDX and MDX?
Seriously, WTH?
And who is designing some of Honda's wheels? They need to be fired ASAP! (Though I see A LOT of wheels on new cars lately that just make me shake my head)
