i got a 2001 civic dx auto. the problem is that it dies out occasionally when im turning, going slow, or when the a/c is on. it also dies out when you leave it on park or neutral for 3 minutes. posted this thread on engine maintenance. sorry. im new to this site. please help....

 

search for idle re-learn some one I believe has it posted on this site. what happens is when you pull the steering wheel all the way to one side it puts an extra load on the power steering pump and it uses more of the engines power to run it samething when you turn the ac on. and with it sitting for about 3 mins it is about time for the fans to kick on which puts more of an electrical load on the car and will cause it to try to bogg down. it should not die out completely so try the idle re-learn if that does not work I would just take it to the dealership
