I really don't feel like buying tires right now. It's way on the corner which makes me wonder if it only went into sidewall?

It doesn't leak so I'm just gonna leave it in there for now.

 

While you can probably find a place to plug it, I certainly wouldn't drive on that tire, even with a patch, much less a plug.

The tire sitting in my trunk has a screw in the same spot, I feel your pain.

Of all the things to drive around with knowing there is a probability of failure, tires and brakes are not items on that list for me.

 

While I do completely agree with you, it's a small hole, so the likelihood of a blowout is next to nothing.

It's got 220k and I'm not looking to spend a lot of money on it anymore.

 

I don't think you can plug that because it's too close to the sidewall.
