OK so I have a 96 civic ex d16y8 automatic 140k on it.
Completely Bone Stock. It always runs fine until today, it wont turn over.

I went into the store came out and it wouldnt start. It wont do anything when you turn the igition, no sounds what so ever. I also tried to jump it and when I turned it over, again nothing no sounds or anthing.

Does this mean that the Starter needs replaced??

When you turn the key to ON(II), do the dash warning lights turn on?

Do you have a voltmeter or test light to check whether the two starter wires get battery voltage?

 

yeah the dash lights are coming on when I turn the key over. what does that mean??

 

While a buddy hold the key in ON(III), test for battery voltage at the two connectors on the starter.
