Default 88 civic DX vs base/STD

What are the differences between these two trims for 1988? So far ive seen rear wiper, 5 speed and 20 more hp engine. I'm wondering where the 60 pound weight difference comes from for a build I'm doing, thanks.

i think the std's have smaller hubs. you wont notice 60 punds of weight.

cool thanks for the info, if anyone else is aware of any other differences that would be helpful too, it's harder to find this stuff documented for hatches than crxs

STD's have the small knuckles, hence why you have to change them when you swap in a b series because the splines are smaller. The STD's also came with a 4 speed as the DX's came with a 5 speed.

My DX came with tilt steering, same size knuckles as the Si.

I also think the STD had no center console but the DX/Si did

A little old but not to old.

Question though, does the DX have the same size brakes as the SI? I know its got the same hubs. Also the std brakes are they the same just with smaller hubs?
