I had a B16a1 engine but the head ruined and now i have a B16a2 what year make and model would i get a head gasket for this? Now i have a b16a1 block w/a b16a2 head..what head gasket should i get? also do i get new studs??i dont really want to. any advice will help thanks.

either one will get you the right HG. and don't be cheap, replace the studs that way we won't have a thread a week from now saying "help replaced headgasket now car runs like poop and oil is mixed in my coolant"

even ARP's are like $125.

 

does ARP have a website?? ok cool will the honda gaskets work fine? are there any aftermarket gaskets that are good? but i will get them ARP's.

i haven't checked price differences between the 3 different stores, but they should all be about the same.

and yes OEM gaskets will work perfectly for you.

 

the whole b16a1/b16a2 will work with no probelms like ecu things..cuz everything looks the same.
