I have a problem with the oil in my civic. it seems my car is just eating oil like crazy. i recently changed my oil and about a week later i checked it to see where it was at and about a 3rd+ of it was already gone.

I am not blowing any blue smoke out of my exhaust, no leaks, spark plugs are clean...no idea where all my oil is going. Any ideas? TIA

 

valve seals? i had same problem, but i rebuilt it anyway for boost, but i feel for sure that was my problem! do a leak down and a comp test first to make sure it isnt ur rings or anything else.

 

if it were the valve seals wouldnt it show on my spark plugs?

 

take your exhuast manifold off and take a look at the valves and seals for oil
