obd1 engine with obd2 wire harness

will this work if i use obd2 harness on an obd1 engine?

you will need a jumper harness for the distributor to use the obd1 dizzy to the obd2 harness you can get off passowrd jdm and you need a jumer harness for the actual ecu itself obd2 to obd1 and depending if its a vtec engine you need p28 and for non vtec a p06
