Default Eibach sportline springs + ??? what shocks

I have been running my sportline springs on my 02 accord sdn since 02.. They have been matched with my stock shocks. Im sure you can imagine that over time they are not acting up to par. What would be the best match up to use with these springs in regards to shocks? Ive heard eidlebrock seem to be some of the most recommended but I'd like to hear what you guys think.
Thanks!

I liked the Tokico Illuminas that I had on my Accord. The adjustability was nice when I was adjusting everything to my liking.

Great, thanks for the fast responses guys!
So naturally i copy and pasted Tokico illuminas and the fist things came up on eBay.

Ive got more or less 2 options:

Just the shocks:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/TOKICO-ILLUMINA-A...d=p3286.c0.m14
Or
Shock and spring combo:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/TOKICO-ILLUMINA-S...d=p3286.c0.m14

My question now: would you think that they would perform better with a manufacturer rated compatible spring (I assume by tokico)or would they work better with my 7 year old sport lines?
The price difference is very insignificant (less then 100.00 USD) for the kit that comes new springs.. I know that eibach has a "no questions asked" life time warranty against sagging ect, but the cost to ship them back and get them replaced may not be worth it..
Any suggestions/thoughts?
Thanks again!

if the 100$ difference isnt that big of a deal to you, id definetly jump on the all new shock spring combo. itll be easier to install then just swapping the struts and retaining the spring; not to mention new is new is new is new.

I feel the same way. Install would be much simpler as I dont not have a spring compressor on hand and the 100.00 extra is not a huge issue as I already would be spending roughly 500.00.. That being said, I actually found an even better price on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.ca/TOKICO-ILLUMINA-S...3286.m20.l1116 - 5% off sale!!!

The only down side that I see in this is that the tokico set is a 1.5" drop where as my current sport lines are a 2" drop.. I have grown accustom to this level now and am worried that the minor 0.5" height increase will not fly in my eyes...

thoughts?
(thanks again!)

^it will make a difference without a doubt. im running my springs on stock struts, they were rated at 1.7f/1.8r although they settled/compressed to 2.2/2.3 and it made a huge difference.

im sure youll be able to find a larger drop in the illuminas for a comparable price.. youll hate it for being different.

Ive been looking for about an hour now.. So far, 1.5" drop is the way to go with the matched set up according to all the people selling them..
Performance wise how do you think this will react? Do you think there would be a noticeable difference? I assume it would make a difference.. Maybe I should look into some height adjustable coilover kits..

I knew a guy that had that exact setup. The springs with that kit aren't bad, but I like the drop and ride of the Sportlines better.

So you think its a good call to purchase only the shocks and use my existing sportline springs? Or maybe I should go through the trouble of sending them back to eibach for replacement due to "sagging".... But then I would be out of springs for a couple months I assume..

Wait, I'm confused... Why are you saying your springs are sagging? You said your struts were "not up to par" anymore, which is what happens when you run [most] aftermarket springs on stock struts.

The only thing that needs to be replaced right now is your struts. If you like your current drop, stick with your current springs.

Sending the springs back to Eibach will achieve absolutely nothing, and they will most likely ship you back the same springs b/c there's nothing wrong with them. The cost of shipping will be wasted.

Indeed. I'm confused as well why you want to send them back?

Use your Eibachs, they're great springs! I really doubt they are in bad shape at all.

If you don't have a spring compressor, take your struts and springs to a mechanic with one and have them put them together. No big deal.

Besides, most of the hand-crank compressors are just dangerous (I myself had one come undone off a spring and strike me right in the thigh, still have a nice scar). Let someone with a REAL spring compressor do it and save yourself time and the hassle.

^^ i disagree with this statement. i used the autozone lend a tool program many a time to swap springs, the biggest bitch part is getting the things that grab the coils inbetween the coils on the strut

Im saying that they are sagging because my car is sitting 2.3-2.5" down rather then the 2" that it was at 6 years ago.. I'd assume this is what you call "sagging" right? Correct me if im wrong..
Regardless, ive used the compressor tool a couple of times and it is simply more annoying then anything.
I think what it comes down to is that im gonna buy the set with the shocks and the springs. I think the 1.5" drop will actually in the long run be better on the rest of the car and I wont see as bad inner tire wear. I probably wont even use a camber kit with this drop.
Ill miss the sleek look of a very low car but I wont miss the tire rubbing, twice a year tire replacement and constant oil pan brushes to speed bumps.
Thanks for all your help guys, I appreciate it!
