Default after putting oem wheel on it super loose

Hi duders. I recently put a manual rack in the car. works great. I put a cheap ebay 320mm wheel and quick release on(junk) and when I would go down the road and hit bumps it would jolt the wheel. So..i put the stock wheel back on..now its super loose. Rack is fine. it’s the size of the wheel. Its just slopping feeling and when I hit boost its all over the road.
Any body deal with this before? What did you settle on? A fancy expensive small wheel?
I wish I could tighten up the steering. (im not switch out another rack..again)

Sounds like it got bad when you installed the aftermarket one. Are you sure everything is nice and tight?

Could the aligntment be off from switching racks? The manual rack is a little looser feeling than a power rack, just from the difference in the gear ratios between the power and manual racks.

..its on right, ive done this a million times. but both wheels have cons to them.
i have solid motor mounts and traction bars. the car is super stiff. the wheels are aligned. it goes straight right down the road but its harder to keep a straight line when i hit boost with a big wheel. its like a semi truck wheel compared to the other one its all over the place. ima just buy a fancy wheel i guess.

Get a quality hub and quick release wheel, and then an alignment.

Go back and check all the bolts you unbolt. Get an alignment, check wheel bearing, etc.... Freaking 09

if the wheel turns when you hit boost its called TORQUE STEER. get a tune for a more gradual power band and not just a ridiculous one that goes straight up at boost. or grow stronger arms.

not one answer is related to my question.
i didnt have a problem with torque steere with the small wheel. it was nice, just not when i hit bumps, the cheap ebay quick release was too shaky and it would just jolt and seem unsafe .(other posters should be catching on about now)(hopefully)
has anyone driven a large large truck with a big wheel? well the stock weel feels like that.
