Default GSR Block with B16 Head?

I currently have a b16a2 swap in my car and id like to upgrade the motor up to a 1.8, my friend has a rebuilt GSR block that he will sell me for $450 and I can buy Type R internals for preety cheap.

Would this make a big difference and worth the money? Im probably gonna spend around $800 for everything will install myself.

What do you all think.

with the type r internals it will. as it will have higher comp, but the b16 head and gsr flow bascily the same amount, i cant see it being a night and day difference, but i say go for it,
