Axles issues? CRV knuckle 5 lug with D16 axle

I swap in the CRV knuckle 5 lugs on my EK. The issue I have is that when I swap the outer hub from a Type S 36mm, it's too big to fit on the D16 axle. Does anyone know what combination will work? Instead of going with aftermarket hubs.
