Icon6 Fluctuating idle.

So here's the down low, I have a 95 ex with swapped b18a1 built/turboed. I have recently been having some idle problems but it doesn't happen all the time. Today I cleaned out my IACV, it ran fine when I went to test drive it, then about 20min later I went back out to grab lunch same thing was happening. Also a new symptom came up I had NO EFFIN BRAKES when I was trying to stop! I had to slam my e-brake on it was pretty scary. After I came to a complete stop my brakes came back and worked fine. So I was stopped at a light idle bouncing and I felt my brakes getting loose again and could hit the pedal to the floor. I drove off when it turned green tested my brakes and they worked again.

I'm stumped It does sound like it could vac leak due to the symtoms, could it be a problem with the brake booster? I need some things to check over that I could not think of by myself, I'm not to familiar with brakes. I'm going to recheck all my vac lines again tomorrow.

Idle: If you have an FITV on the throttle body, clean and adjust it. Also bleed the cooling system.

Brakes: This is a separate problem. Is the fluid low in the master cylinder reservoir? Can you detect any fluid leaks from the MC, calipers, or wheel cylinders? If not, replacing the master cylinder should fix the brake problem.

The brakes I have full fluid and I do not have any leaks anywhere so that would narrow it down to the master cylinder?

Tomorrow I will bleed the system, for some reason I can't remember if I have a FITV I'm using a blox throttle body, I don't believe they have one.

Yes, typically.

If you don't have an FITV, then bleed the cooling system and check for vacuum or intake air leaks. If you remove the intake and cover the port in the throttle body leading to the IACV with your finger, does this prevent the hunting idle?

Okay so this morning I bled the cooling system there where some air pockets, It did not completely fix my idle issue. Also I did not see a port leading to the IACV the blox throttle body doesn't have one. The only leak if you would call it that is the BOV. Also something that might be of valuable information my AFR at idle is around 10.75 - 11.00, that seems a bit to much fuel for idle, no?

tpypically if you seem to have a vaccuum leak and your brakes arent working, your brake booster is probably the cause, considerign your fluid is topped off, i replaced EVERY hose and cleaned IACV after i was boosted, my brakes didnt work and thats what let me to believe it was my brake booster, and it was, so maybe give it a spray with carb cleaner it might jump revs

Running rich won't cause a fluctuating idle.

Is the CEL on?

A leak from the brake booster vacuum hose could cause a fluctuating idle, but would make the brake pedal difficult to press down rather than fall to the floor.

Ok update, I found a leak on my front left caliper took it apart and replaced the o ring and other gasket, my brakes where fine after that I drove it around for a bit and they seemed normal... so far. The swap is from a DA integra a b18a1, I don't believe it had ABS, my ABS system was still hooked up so I pulled the main fuse/fuses and relays. It fixed my problem with the fluctuating idle, but after a min or so of running the idle jumps up to 1k and stays there. Could it be a cpu problem?

There is no CEL.

It's a P75 ECU found in integra 94-95.

I just remembered that my ABS light would come on about 1-2min after running the car and that is when my idle would go up. I took out the bulb, I should put it back in to confirm this.

Does the ABS system have a OVP relay? I was reading that this was a problem on other cars.
