i just got an 88 crx si. and i was old that it had b16 in it but the car no longer has an engine wiring harness in it. but i have a 92 teg wiring harness in my garage that was hooked up to a b16, can i use this harness in my crx? and does the 88 si come in mpfi or dpfi do i have to do any wiring like that? some one please help?!

 

need si harness unless you want to cut and splice your interior harness and find out were each individual plug goes

the si is mpfi

if you want to use si harness make sure that it is a si not a hf or dx and year 88 would be best

 

ok does the stock harness only plug in, in one place under the hood or does it plug in 2 places like the teg?

 

3 if you want to get technical... maybe 4 I know my 1991 CRX Si has 4 body to engine plugs. 2 Rounds, 1 Rectangle, and 1 Square...

 

My ef has those same plugs but for some reason my crx is missing the plugs on the driver side and the rectangle plug on the passenger side.

i just got it and its pretty embarising right now lol but 2maro ill post some pics. i hope its an easy fix would there be anyreason to take out the plugs from the driverside fire wall to put a b16 in? jw cuz i wouldnt think so.
