Default Breaking-in a fresh motor!plz chime in

Hey im just looking for a few tips from people with past experiences on breaking in fresh motors,I have gotten a few different stories from different people on a proper break-in procedure.Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You are going to get so many different opinions on this subject it will just confuse you more.

personally I think the fast and hard method is the way to go, but I have only done a few new engines and Im hardly an expert. heres a good article on the method.

The only issue I really see with this way is on a new engine that has aftermarket FI and ZERO tuning done to it. You dont want to get on the dyno without making sure you dont have any leaks or other small issues, but you cant drive it hard without tuning. Best option Ive found is to remove wastegate, and charge pipe, then use stock injectors and stock ecu. I know some people say you cant over spin a turbo, but its just not worth tearing up a turbo to me. These things are expensive

My last 3 builds have spent about 5 minutes on the dyno. Then WOT pulls. LOL (tooned by Chris Harris) =-)

Haven't hurt one yet!! (the previous 2 are still running in other cars)

I broke mine in on the street. Easy miles. N/a with stock .BIN and stock injectors. With regular (not synthetic oil) just regular stop and go traffic etc... nothin crazy vtak pulls. 1000-1500 mi. re tork the head studs and good to go

we do a few pulls on the dyno with the intake off ( so a few N.A pulls) then turn it up from thier

i tend to drive it like i stole it, they last longer and make more power that way, of course i am also always sure of the tune first

ok so i (obviously) dont have a dyno.. so what exactly is the procedure for breaking it in on the dyno? boosting the shizz out of it from the get go??
