Are OEM Honda/Acura lug nuts stainless?
i am going to upgrade my lug nuts to avoid rust. i bought my car with aftermarket wheels and junk AutoZone lugs, so i have no experience with OEM lugs.
i am looking at these, specifically:
90304-SA7-811 black NSX closed end
90381-SV1-901 open end
90304-SA5-013 closed end
are any of the OEM lugs stainless steel? i don't care about color--i just want to avoid rust.

If you want to avoid seized lugs, use anti-seize on the stud threads.
I have no idea on OEM lug nut material. Mine were chrome plated, and chrome doesn't rust.

i don't have a problem loosening the nuts. at home i have an impact and i've never had trouble using a 4 way wrench. i am just annoyed that all my lug nuts are visibly rusting, including my chrome-like gorilla locks.
All of the above are steel lug nuts and may eventually rust, after many years of use in all weather conditions. If that bothers you, you can always buy another set when they do. Lug nuts are inexpensive.
I'm not sure whether they even make stainless steel lug nuts, or whether they are strong enough to hold up to the forces placed on them.

i don't think he means seized as in taking the lug nut off, but it actually freezing onto the stud and breaking it off. it happens, it actually happened to me today. 2 studs broke, and they visably rusty. thank god they decided to break after i got home and realized my wheel felt wobbly. if it happened while on the highway, might have been a game over.
