my b16a swapped hatch has been throwing code 21 ever since I swapped it about 3 weeks ago. I have it all wired up correctly and Vtec worked just fine before the swap. Now I don't have the knock sensor wired( gonna do that later today) and up until yesterday it wasn't throwing the code for it. Now my question is Would it throw code 21 for the solenoid if it was just the knock sensor wasn't wired up or is there still something wrong with my solenoid??

 

Well I changed out my solenoid with another one and I can hear the crossover and feel alittle more power but no where near as much as my B16 used to have. Only difference between the solenoids is the one that came on my B16a has a filter screen and the other one only has a gasket. Would that make a difference? Damn I'm stumped??

Any help would be awesome!!!!

Turns out the wires were grounding out under the battery were I ran them inside the car. So problem fixed
