I'm embarrassed to even post this, but, what is the trick to the back portion of the ef's backseat??? I'm putting an 88 si rear seat into my 90 and assuming it's the same. It looks like a perfect fit. Is there some release on the post that holds the folding portions in?? I don't remember ever having an issue with this, but then again I haven't messed with 88-89's much. despite the few differences.. I can post pics later if needed.

 

There are little black clips at the ends where the seat meets the paneling/lower seat
