I'm getting a very good deal on a 80's yamaha xs650. I've never ridden a bike before so I'm thinking this should be a suitable a bike given it's price. Anyone have experience with these?

 

They're a good bike to learn on...especially if you can get one cheap. Parts shouldn't be much either...it's a really simple bike mechanically. They can also be made into cool dirt-track bikes or retro cafe racers, if you get bored.
