I'm looking for a schematic diagram for the Keyless entry module for a 99 Honda Civic. Do you know where I can find one?
or What I need is the voltages needed for door lock actuators. (+ or -)
I have a Valet keyless entry system that I'm replacing the old keyless system with.
I have the lights working and the horn but can't make the door locks work electronically.
The door lock buttons won't work either.

Second of all, I don't know if you're aware of this or not, but for Civics '05 and older, the driver's door lock button won't function while the door is open unless the inside handle is pulled. You need to either close the door and then cycle the locks, or pull the inside handle while pressing the lock button to cycle the locks.

If the driver's door isn't locking, then the other doors won't lock either.

 

Thanks for the quick reply. I was told by Honda that both cars that year had the same keyless entry module. The module needs to be replaced so I'm installing a Valet system to replace it.
I know about the door locks that is no problem. I need to know what the voltages or amps the old unit is sending out to activate the locks so I can match it to the new system.
