Default 03 Civic timing belt

Got an 03 LX with 155,000 miles on, drive it fairly roughly, whenever i take it for an oil change they say the car is it fine condition nothing major needs to be fixed.

although me being me, i havent changed the timing belt of water pump on it yet, going on a day trip from hartford, ct to syracuse, ny...is that a smart idea driving that far? do i still have some wiggle room before i should change the belt and pump? how long does the belt and pump last on it?

this maybe a dumb question but i really need some good advice please

Read the FAQs for the Maintenance Schedule among other useful links. It should have been done a long time ago.
