this is a stupid question but, whats the difference between a em2 civic and a regular civic? besides the vin number being different? i just found out that my civic is a em2. and everyone that i race that has the same model wonders why i beat them all the time.

 

Street racing is not condoned activity on this site. As for the term "EM2", it has to deal with your VIN number stating what chassis your car is.

They're all hyped about it because they own it. There's nothing particularly special about them.

I don't see much hype anywhere about the ownership of an EM2. It's just a chassis classification. Some people like to gather in groups, when they've got the same chassis.

 

EM2's are nothing special to have, but for saving gas. VTEC-E ftw!

Well, unless you swap/turbo it then it's a whole different story haha.

 

A swaped/turboed em2 can be a lot of fun just like all of the other chassis. Neither will be cheap or extremely easy to do, but a lot of fun in the end.

em2 is the chassis code, you dont have a special civic or anything.
