Not necessarily hate, thought it was funny.

Either you let the guy spend the money and turn his car into a spitting image of that pic,
which is already too small to give a good idea but people in the know already know what it is, OR you simply steer him away.

Granted, the ways people go about the latter could have been more...diplomatic.
