1996 honda civic SI BUSHINGS and NOISES?
okay so in the front end of my civic si i have massive noises and play.
I checked
Outter tie rod ends
Lower Balljoints
Lower control arms
all seem to be intact and from what i see, nothing loose.
could the bushings be bad?
also does anybody have an accual list of bushings in the front end?, im talking ENTIRE list.
and which ones r press outs and what not.
basically what im looking for is a list of what bushings there are that doesn't need to be pressed in or out also i need to know which ones there are that do need to be pressed in and out.
I'm gonna try and replace everything myself, except for the ones that need to be pressed in and out of course.

where's the play and noise? video?
lower arm has 2 bushings each side. only 1 side needs to be pressed out.
upper arm both bushing need to be pressed out
Shifter Bushings no pressing needed
Sway bar Bushing *if you have one for the front*
strut bushings no pressing
rack bushings
3 engine mounts
2 torque mounts
can't think of any other bushings

also which bushings do you recommend? HONDA OEM? Polyurathane? energy suspension bushings?
also the noise are most pernounced when im turning or just rolling to a stop and or about to go from a stop. it sounds like metal on metal
if i move the steering wheel side to side from a dead stop ittl squeak.
the axles are fine.
new wheel bearings all around.
New studs all around.
Now i used silicone grease spray on everything i could possibly tocuch without taking nehting off and it reduced the noises from 90% to asbout 20% forl ike 15 minutes until the silicone dried up or got used up with the motion of the car.
also if u dont mind, got any bushings in mind thats in the rear? im trying to make a list and get everything rebushing'd
civic's don't really have any grease injection points like the larger trucks/vans do on their balljoints. so no lube points except for maybe the clutch slave cylinder.
honda oem bushings. the poly ones break after a few years.
brake noise maybe?
what kind of sqeak or is it a creak?
rear bushings:
trailing arm bushings pressing needed
piece that holds the trailing arm (forgot what it was called) needs pressing
strut bushings no pressing
lca pressing needed
camber rod bushings replace the whole thing with an adjustable one.
