HAHAHAH everytime I see one of these threads I laugh my *** off. Those guys say some of the funniest ****. Ok the cars cut to **** so it should go faster than a 10.9. Is it even legal to be raced anywhere besides streets. CAGE CAGE CAGE. Didnt TIM,JAKE,LOAN go faster than that with a nice car without it being a tin can and illegal? Just a question so don't start crying.

 

If im not mistaken, this car was mostly built for the streets. Bein lightweight is a nj/ny thing, theres no rules regarding weight on the streets. trust me theres alot more money to be made on the streets, than any event! regardless 10.9 is 10.9..props to CHR for the build/ET

 

agreed. that car is a "street car" by our standards, not really meant for track usage since it probably wouldn't pass tech.

 

Makes me want to sell my car and buy something non-honda. What a can.

yes, all those mentioned went faster with more weight and 'nicer' cars, but the purpose of this car is to make money. the less money put in yeilds more of a profit. it wasnt built with track events in mind.

with that said, i woudlnt want to drive it, lol. props tho to alvis.

 

I could tell you what, the person who lines up next to that car even for a money run in the street is just as dumb as the owner/driver because any little mishap which can most likely happen in an open environment will! I'm sure you or anyone in their right mind wouldn't ride a rollercoaster without safety so why take the chance in a race car? Very foolish words 92 EH2

I'd also like to add that those posting about the car just being a money car, I would bet anything that not one of those people have driven a car under 11.50 or more the 125+mph in a quarter mile. Its about being prepared for the unexpected not the other way around.

 

Dang you guys are all upset about a friggin roll bar. Who gives a crap? All that stuff cut out of the sides of that car that makes it look "all cut up" is about 10lbs worth of metal. The whole floor in my EG from the firewall back was 35lbs, 100lbs with the rear subframe gone. It is quick regardless.
