I have been drivin my Rsx with a skunk2 exhaust for a while and I really like what it sounds like (not too loud but loud enough 2 hear) and I have a Aem cold air intake that I was gunna put on but I really don't want my car to sound too loud and annoying.

 

it will make a little different on noise level, you'll get a nice deep air sucking noise out of it.

what AEM are you planning on using?

short-ram or cold-air type.

this will too vary on the sounding of the intake

 

I have AEM cai and Skunk2 cat-back exhaust and I think it sounds great. Deep, not ricey sounding. You really only hear the intake at about after 4.5 or 5k RPM.

you need to drive my car around .. i've never heard my exhaust from outside. only when i go in a tunnel or something do i hear the echo.

I thought the intake did more for sound than the exhaust. The intake made vtec especially loud, the exhaust just made it sound deeper.

 

yep,.I got SKunk2 and INjen,...Its perfect together,..Love the low sounding ****!!!!
Mine is the bomb beat from Dre'
It screams @ about 6k,..but its cool cuz the exhaust is still quiet up high rpms,..but loud down low!

 

exactly.. it's louder at lower RPM's and quiter at higher. The intake really starts to scream at like 4500RPM and up.
