i have 1996 JDM f22B sohc non vtec engine under the hood. and which is a auto tranny.
the transmission seized up. it just slip in all gear. and it wont move now.


is it all f-series transmission are the same? apart from f23 sohc. can i use accord tranny into my mini van?

 

i know u cant put an F22 transmission onto a F23 motor cause of the TCU or something like that. im wondering the same thing if i can use an F23 transmission off an accord onto my odyssey as well... anyone care to chime??

i have always understood that they could interchange as long as the engine series were the same

 

but i read that if u run a transmission off a F22 they have different solenoids and u have to run there ecu cause it shifts different. thats why i was told to run 98-00 or 02's accords

 

i can agree with your post if you meant TCU and not ECU
