i have an h22a us block with an h22a jdm head.hit 170 last dyno had this done. supertech springs and retainers.valves to.5 angle valve job and oversize valve seats. skunk2 stage 1 cams.
is 15 wut it is with that stuff i had done.
not bitchin about it. just wasn't sure how the results would be. i thought the top end power would of been more, but no more lag in the midrange. if i knew how to post pics you can see the dyno.
i figured more cause the bolt on's. aem tru time gears, aem cold air, megan headers, greddy 60mm catback exhaust. the throttle body has been bored out by jg dynamics and an afc2 v-tec controller.

Especially if it was a 15 whp gain. But everyone knows that the real secret is in the stickers...if you forget to put one on, that's like 5 whp right there.
I'm assuming your one of those guys who thinks thats because on the site it says you'll gain 12 whp across the board with those cams you believed them.
Every motor reacts differently to everything done... Basically you put a stock cam in, expecting alot of power, 5 angle valvejob? For what.. your not making 800whp and trying to squeeze everything.
Want the honest to God truth? i think 15whp for what you have done is good.. 185whp h22 with just some head work and cams? Thats pretty good bro..
I'd also visit silva learning centers too.

well you all comics.the motor dyno at 170 when i put it the car. now its 185 to the wheel. wanted to see more at top for that i need to change my stockass ecu. mid range has the hardest gain about 30 hp. the tourqe is 142 across the dyno. v-tec is smooth when it kicks in.
did u expect supertech springs and retainers, and valve gain u ponies?
i wouldn't expect a ton unless you did full intake, exhaust and a port job
