my buddy has an obd0 ls swapd EF hatch
when he floors it it runs strong until like 5 grand, and then it pretty much dies
he just replaced the distributor
he has msd blaster 2 garbage lol....
could that be whats wrong?

 

DO u have any check engine lights?

also check injectors to see if they are working good i had the same problem with my ef with an ls swap but i couldnt only rev up to about 4000 then like hit a rev limiter.

it does have a CEL
and yeah i think it might be the injectors
